Bangladeshi Man Robbed by Three Women in Pattaya

A 32-year-old Bangladeshi national has reported being attacked and robbed by three women in Pattaya, losing cash worth approximately 25,500 baht in multiple currencies. The incident, which took place in the early hours of the morning, is now under police investigation.

The victim, Mr. Mohammad Farhad Hossan, filed his complaint at the Pattaya City Police Station with Police Lieutenant Colonel Sai Jai Khamjulla, the investigative officer on duty. He recounted that at about 12:10 a.m., he was walking along Pattaya Beach when he was approached by a Thai woman who struck up a friendly conversation.

According to Mr. Hossan, the woman gained his trust and eventually invited him to accompany her to a hotel room in Soi Khao Phratamnak 4. Once inside the room, she told him that two of her friends would be joining them. A short time later, two more Thai women arrived.

It was then, Mr. Hossan alleges, that the three women turned aggressive. They reportedly threatened and physically assaulted him before stealing cash in three currencies: SGD 800 (about THB 20,000), MYR 200 (about THB 1,500), and THB 4,000. The total amount taken was valued at approximately THB 25,500.

After the robbery, Mr. Hossan left the hotel and encountered a local motorcycle taxi driver. The driver noticed visible scratch marks on the victim’s face and inquired about what had happened. Upon learning of the assault and theft, the driver offered to take him to the police station free of charge so he could file an official report.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Sai Jai Khamjulla documented the details of the incident and coordinated with the investigative unit to locate and apprehend the suspects. Officers are currently reviewing available leads, including possible security camera footage from the hotel and surrounding area.

Authorities believe the crime may have been premeditated, with the first woman allegedly targeting Mr. Hossan along the beach and luring him to a secluded location where her accomplices were able to join her. Such tactics have been reported in previous cases in tourist hotspots, where unsuspecting victims are drawn into situations in which they are isolated and vulnerable.

Local police have urged residents and visitors to exercise caution when approached by strangers, particularly in entertainment districts and late-night beach areas. Pattaya, a popular destination for both Thai and international tourists, has seen periodic incidents involving theft and scams, though law enforcement maintains a strong presence in key areas.

Investigators are confident that the suspects can be identified and brought to justice. The case remains active, with officers pursuing all available evidence to ensure the perpetrators are prosecuted in accordance with Thai law.

For Mr. Hossan, the priority now is the recovery of his stolen funds and the hope that his attackers will be held accountable. Police have assured him that efforts are underway to resolve the matter as swiftly as possible.
