Decomposed Body Found Floating Near Koh Si Chang Island
Authorities in Chonburi Province are investigating the discovery of a severely decomposed male body found floating in the sea approximately 15 kilometers offshore near Koh Si Chang, in Sriracha District. The body was discovered on Friday morning by local fishermen near Koh Khang Khao (Bat Island) and promptly reported to police.
Lieutenant Colonel Chai Pichit Phulaydok of the Koh Si Chang Police Station received the alert and coordinated a multi-agency response, including the Sriracha Water Police, investigative officers, and personnel from the Sawang Prateep Sriracha Rescue Unit. A patrol boat was dispatched to the location where the floating body was spotted.

Authorities suspect the deceased could have been a fisherman, possibly lost at sea during a previous expedition, given the location and nature of the discovery. Investigators are currently checking recent missing persons reports in the surrounding coastal areas.
