Pennsylvania Man Sentenced to Three Life Terms for Deadly 2024 Rampage

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. (AP) — A Pennsylvania man who killed three family members during a violent multi-state rampage last year has been sentenced to three consecutive life terms without the possibility of parole.

Andre Gordon, 27, pleaded guilty on Wednesday to three counts of first-degree murder, along with multiple other charges related to the March 2024 attacks. The victims included his stepmother, his sister, and the mother of his two young children. In addition to the life sentences, Gordon received an additional 156 ½ to 313 years for crimes including burglary, robbery, and assaults on corrections officers while in custody.

Bucks County District Attorney Jennifer Schorn initially planned to pursue the death penalty but ultimately opted against it after consulting with the victims’ families.

Authorities said Gordon’s rampage began in Trenton, New Jersey, where he carjacked a vehicle and drove to Levittown in Falls Township, Pennsylvania. There, he fatally shot his stepmother and sister. He then traveled to a second home in Levittown, where he killed the mother of his children while the young girls hid nearby. He also injured the children’s grandmother by striking her with a rifle.

Gordon continued his violent spree by carjacking another vehicle in Morrisville and returning to Trenton. Police surrounded a home where they believed he was hiding, but Gordon managed to slip away. He was later arrested without incident while walking unarmed a few blocks from the scene.

Authorities say the motive behind the attacks remains unclear.
