Texas Man Wearing Diaper and Pacifier Arrested for Confronting Girls at Elementary School
A 45-year-old Texas man has been arrested after allegedly confronting two young girls in an elementary school parking lot while wearing nothing but a diaper and a pacifier around his neck. Police say the disturbing incident took place last Wednesday at Andy Woods Elementary School in Tyler.
The suspect, identified as Wesley Worl, is facing charges of criminal solicitation of a minor and criminal trespass. According to Tyler Police Department Public Information Officer Andy Erbaugh, Worl approached the girls — who were riding bikes and scooters — and allegedly shouted, “Goo goo ga ga, I need a diaper change,” before asking them directly if they would “change” him.
Frightened by the encounter, the girls fled toward a nearby residence, but in their panic, they fell and scraped their knees. Court documents state that the children were “visibly shaking” and “truly petrified” when they reached the home, telling two residents that a “scary man” had been chasing them. The residents promptly contacted police.
Officers later arrested Worl at his workplace after the girls identified him as the suspect. His arrest affidavit, obtained by local media, details the incident and the fear it caused the children.
Court records reveal Worl has an extensive criminal history dating back to 1999, including charges for stalking and inappropriate behavior toward children. In one past case, he was reportedly caught with his hand inside his shorts and told officers he was “checking his diaper.”
Authorities have emphasized the seriousness of the charges and the need to protect children from such incidents. The investigation is ongoing, and police are reviewing whether additional charges may apply based on Worl’s prior history and the nature of the confrontation.
This incident has raised concerns about school safety and the importance of community vigilance to protect children in public spaces.
