Dover, UK – Three Slovakian men have been convicted of abducting, drugging, and repeatedly raping a 12-year-old girl over a 72-hour ordeal in Kent last August.
How the Crime Unfolded
- Lured from Asda Car Park: Kevin Horvath, 26, and Ivan Turtak, 38, spotted the victim in Dover on August 11 and convinced her to enter their car.
- Held in Caravan: The girl was taken to Turtak’s residence before being moved to Ernest Gunar’s, 27, caravan in Folkestone, where she was given crystal meth and amphetamines and subjected to repeated sexual assaults.
- Threatened with Death: The men warned her she would be killed if she sought help or escaped.
- Brave Escape: On August 13, while her captors slept, the girl fled and was later found by police in Dover.
Trial & Convictions
- DNA Evidence: Forensic tests linked all three men to the victim’s body and clothing.
- Horvath: Convicted of sexual assault of a child under 13 and previously pleaded guilty to three counts of rape and assault by penetration.
- Turtak: Convicted of rape of a child under 13 and admitted to taking indecent photos of a child.
- Gunar: Convicted of two counts of rape and pleaded guilty to one additional rape charge.
