Investigation Underway:
Authorities have launched a full investigation into the attack. While no group has claimed responsibility, the region has a history of insurgency-related violence, particularly in Thailand’s deep South, where government personnel — including teachers and local officials — are sometimes targeted.
This brazen attack on a community event intended to combat drug abuse has sparked outrage and renewed concerns about public safety in the area.
Further updates are expected as the investigation progresses.
