Cambodian Man Beaten After Secretly Filming Thai Teen

A Cambodian national was violently assaulted by a group of men in Pattaya after he was caught secretly recording a sexual encounter with a 16-year-old Thai girl, whom he allegedly contacted under the pretense of being a boxing trainer.

The incident began when 36-year-old Sarun Ken met the girl, identified only as “Noi,” on a dating application. According to Ken, they arranged to meet at a local “love hotel.” He claims he informed her he had no money to pay for sex but instead offered to train her in boxing and health. He stated she agreed to these terms, and they engaged in consensual sex.

The situation escalated during a second sexual encounter when Ken secretly filmed the act. The teenager discovered the recording and immediately demanded he delete the video. Ken alleges he complied, and the two parted ways.

However, as Ken rode his motorcycle home through Soi Sophon in central Pattaya in the early hours of the morning, he was followed and ambushed by four or five men on three motorcycles. The group forcibly stopped him and launched a physical attack.

Later the same day, the 16-year-old girl arrived at the Pattaya Police Station with her mother to file a formal complaint against Ken. Her version of events contradicts his. She accused the Cambodian man of posing as a boxing trainer to lure her to a hotel under false pretenses, where he then pressured her into sex and illegally recorded the act.

The men who carried out the attack—identified as friends of the girl’s mother—also turned themselves in to authorities. The mother is now pursuing legal action against Ken for the sexual assault of her underage daughter and for making illicit recordings without consent.

Police confirmed that Ken left the station shortly after the girl and her family arrived, refusing medical treatment for his injuries. The investigation is ongoing, with authorities planning further interviews with the teenager alongside a specialist support team.
